COBRA
COBRA provides certain certain individuals with the ability to temporarily continue health coverage at group rates when coverage is lost due to certain specific events. Health insurance under COBRA is typically more expensive than for active employees, as the employer usually pays part of the active employee’s premium. Generally, COBRA participants pay their entire premium.

Family Medical Leave Act
