Penny Morgan

Client Services Specialist, Client Services Department Manager

Prior to joining BIS Benefits, Penny Morgan had more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. This included working with both Travelers Insurance Company and The Hartford. Her wide range of experience encompasses claims, Property & Casualty insurance, serving in a supervisory capacity and as a Claims Manager.

In addition to insurance, Penny worked several years in an administrative role in one of the largest churches in Greater Atlanta.

Penny Morgan came to BIS Benefits in 2003 as a Client Services Representative and within a few years was promoted to Client Services Specialist. In 2008 she was appointed as the Client Services Department Manager where she manages a team assisting clients with enrollments, terminations, COBRA, billing, eligibility, claims and much more. Under Penny’s direction, the Client Services Team has grown and added bilingual (Spanish) services, online claim forms and service history communications for clients

Penny will tell you the client services role is the perfect role for her as she enjoys problem solving and assisting clients and employees in getting the most out of their health insurance plans. Not only does Penny serve as an advocate and liaison for her clients, she also enjoys the relationships she has developed with many of her clients over the eight years working with her team at BIS Benefits.

Penny is a native of Atlanta. She and her husband, Darrell, have been married for 32 years and have two grown sons. They have been active members of Mount Pisgah Church for 20 years where she has served in various ministries. Her current ministry is serving as a leader in Women’s Ministry, working with women who are in recovery from hurts, habits and hang-ups. Penny enjoys the routine of her life, being with family, eating out with friends and reading Christian fiction.

Penny attended West Georgia College and holds as Georgia Life & Health Insurance License.
